3. Borrow – Maybe a friend or relative stocked up on loads of Christmas lights during a HUGE after Christmas sale and now has plenty to go around. Ask to borrow this year and next year he/she can borrow from your fertile pot.

5. Barter And Trade Your Way To Savings – Haven’t you heard BARTERING is all the rage now. Yes! Why do you think swap sites are so insanely popular right now. And have been since around 2007 or so. Because people want to save and will do so by any means necessary. But this doesn’t mean you can’t find some excellent Christmas decor deals. Try any of the online (or offline such as Craigslist) places and see what great holiday decorations you score.
